Anaplan Named “Exemplary Leader” in 2025 ISG Software Research Buyers Guide for Financial Consolidation

Anaplan, the only AI-driven scenario planning and analysis platform designed to optimize decision-making in today’s complex business environment, today announced that it has been named an “Exemplary Leader” in the 2025 ISG Software Research Buyers Guide for Financial Consolidation. This prestigious recognition reflects Anaplan’s proven capability to accelerate financial consolidation processes and improve efficiency. It also underscores the company’s leadership in serving finance and accounting teams across industries, particularly following its 2024 acquisition of Fluence Technologies.

Robert Kugel, Executive Director, Business Research, ISG Software Research said: “Financial consolidation is one of the most critical and complex processes in finance, particularly for enterprises managing multiple entities, accounting standards, and reporting obligations. Providers that offer modern, AI-enabled consolidation support are well positioned to help finance teams accelerate these processes without sacrificing accuracy or compliance.”

“We’re proud to help organizations drive financial performance excellence with Anaplan’s unified, purpose-built applications, delivered as a seamless user experience for financial consolidation and planning,” said Neil Thomas, SVP of Finance Applications at Anaplan. “Our customers see transformative results, including up to a 90% reduction in consolidation, financial, and management reporting time, and up to a 50% reduction in annual audit time. For example, we recently helped a leader in senior living more easily consolidate data from multiple ERPs across many regions, business lines, corporate operations, and more than 2,000 general ledger accounts. Their finance team deployed Anaplan in just eight weeks, replacing a legacy, centralized solution to secure a lower cost of ownership, combined with increased user participation and use.”

ISG evaluated 19 vendors based on seven key categories: adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability, usability, validation, and total cost of ownership/return on investment (TCO/ROI). Anaplan’s “Exemplary” overall distinction, and “Leader” distinction in customer experience, reliability, TCO/ROI, and validation, were based on capabilities that support faster, more accurate financial consolidation and reporting, as well as a modern, AI-powered user experience.
