Edge and Bity Release KYC-less Bitcoin-to-Fiat Gateway Offering

Edge, a frictionless crypto exchange and wallet platform, and Bity, a Swiss crypto brokerage and service provider, today announce their integration partnership which allows Edge users the ability to exchange between Bitcoin and fiat without requiring Know Your Customer (KYC) verification up to CHF 5000 per day (approx. $5,000 USD) made possible by Bity’s unique verified proof of wallet-ownership technology layer.

With the integration of Bity’s crypto exchange API, many of the Edge supported cryptocurrencies can be on or off-ramped seamlessly with Euros or Swiss Francs, straight from the Edge app, for the first time without KYC. Bity is able to provide this KYC-less options partially due to their innovative verify proof of wallet-ownership technology, which the company uniquely developed to meet Swiss Anti Money Laundering Ordinance (AMLA) compliance needs. This technology arguable sets the standard for compliance offering the end-user a more secure option for ID verification needs.
