Blockchain Futurist Conference To Welcome Nearly 2,000 Attendees to Toronto, Canada

Untraceable Inc., Canada’s first blockchain and cryptocurrency event and marketing agency, is anticipating over 1,800 attendees for its inaugural marquee blockchain event, Blockchain Futurist Conference, happening August 15-16, 2018 in Toronto, Canada. The two-day event will headline Canada’s first Canadian Blockchain Week, which will bring together speakers, sponsors, and attendees to discuss the future of the blockchain industry and Canada’s role on the international blockchain stage. The event will be made possible by notable title sponsors in the blockchain industry, including Slate Entertainment Inc. and VERSES.

Tracy Leparulo, CEO and Founder of Untraceable and organizer of the conference, said: “We’ve been blown away by the overwhelmingly positive response that we’ve received in anticipation for the Blockchain Futurist Conference. As the home to hundreds of blockchain projects, Toronto is fast becoming a global leader for blockchain innovation, and we’re tremendously proud to highlight the achievements of the Canadian blockchain community. Through the inaugural Blockchain Futurist Conference, we hope to continue to encourage the mainstream adoption of crypto — through our many onsite activations — and an open dialogue between blockchain innovators, pioneers, and enthusiasts in an effort to propel the industry forward.

During the conference, title sponsors, including Slate Entertainment Inc. and VERSES, will host a variety of activities that will be made available for interested attendees. Following the first day of the conference, VERSES, a blockchain virtual economy protocol, will be sponsoring the “VERSES Networking Party” at Rebel at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15. Slate Entertainment Inc., parent company of SLATE, a blockchain-based entertainment utility protocol, will host “Slate’s Cabana Party” at the Cabana Pool Bar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16.

CEO and Co-Founder of Slate Entertainment Inc. Michael Moyal said: “Being local to the Toronto area, we at Slate are ecstatic to have the unique opportunity to engage in a thoughtful discussion with industry leaders about the future of blockchain. This past decade has brought about exponential growth in the pursuit of technological advancement, and this continues as we look to blockchain and cryptocurrencies to radically transform our daily lives. Through the Blockchain Futurist Conference, we’re excited to partner with Tracy and her team to highlight Canada’s role in this discussion, and we look forward to the opportunity to close out the conference at Slate’s Cabana Party.

Gabriel Rene, Founder and Executive Director of VERSES, said: “We are delighted to bring together crypto enthusiasts and innovators from across the world to discuss how to pioneer a brighter future with blockchain technology. Just as our protocol powers the future web by integrating the virtual world with the physical world, we aim to offer attendees the opportunity to find similar integrations during the conference. We believe that the Blockchain Futurist Conference is going to be one of the most topical blockchain events of the year, and we look forward to seeing you there.
