Rentify Debuts Ally: The UAE’s First Standalone AI Agent for Property Maintenance
By Lauren Towner · 26 October 2026

Rentify has launched Ally, an AI-driven maintenance agent designed to automate the coordination of rental repairs within the UAE’s real estate sector. By integrating tenant requests via WhatsApp with vendor dispatch and invoice matching, the tool aims to reduce operational friction for property managers while providing landlords with granular visibility into maintenance expenditure.
What was announced
Ally joins the Earn AI workforce as its fourth specialized agent, specifically targeting the coordination of rental repairs. The launch addresses a significant segment of the UAE’s facilities management market, which was valued at USD 6.56 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 10.95 billion by 2030. The agent operates through a workflow that begins when a tenant reports an issue via text, photo, or video on WhatsApp.
Once a request is received, Ally classifies the issue, verifies the unit’s maintenance contract, and generates a cost estimate. It then applies pre-defined approval rules set by the property manager before dispatching a vendor. For routine tasks, the process is automated; however, requests involving high spending, safety concerns, or complex judgment are escalated to human staff. Emergency calls are automatically routed to the on-call vendor. Actions are logged with a rule-applied record and a timestamp to maintain an audit trail.
The system also handles the financial backend by matching invoices against approved estimates, ensuring that every repair is linked to the unit’s permanent operating record. This provides landlords with a clear history of expenditure alongside their rental income. According to Rentify, the customer portfolios currently utilizing the Earn AI workforce represent more than 180,000 units and a combined annual rent roll of USD 3.4 billion. Ally is designed to integrate with existing property management systems and spreadsheet-based processes.
"Our ambition is a rental unit that can collect its rent, renew its lease and arrange its repairs, with people retaining control over the decisions that matter,"

The companies involved
Rentify is a fintech and proptech firm focused on digitizing the rental lifecycle in the Middle East. Operating via its platform at gorentify.com, the company provides infrastructure designed to modernize how rent is collected, leases are managed, and maintenance is coordinated. Led by Co-Founder and CEO Rashed Hareb Al Mheiri and Co-Founder and COO Rajneel Kumar, the firm has positioned itself as a provider of AI-native solutions for the UAE’s high-volume real estate market.
The company’s Earn AI suite is designed to function as an autonomous workforce for property managers, handling repetitive administrative tasks that traditionally require significant manual oversight. By focusing on the UAE market, Rentify operates within one of the world's most active real estate ecosystems. In 2025 alone, the Dubai Land Department recorded 1.38 million tenancy contracts with a total value of AED 126.4 billion. Rentify’s strategy involves layering financial services and operational automation over existing property management systems, allowing for deployment without requiring a total overhaul of a client's legacy data structures or internal workflows.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely followed Rentify’s expansion of its AI-driven ecosystem in the UAE. In February 2026, the publication reported on the company’s foundational financial layer in Rentify Launches UAE's First AI-Native Rent Infrastructure With Rentify Pay, which introduced a specialized payment framework for the rental market. This was followed in August 2026 by coverage of the company’s efforts to automate the end of the tenancy cycle in Rentify Scales UAE Real Estate Operations with New AI-Powered Renewal Command Center. These previous launches established the "Earn AI" framework that the new maintenance agent, Ally, now joins to provide a more comprehensive operational suite.
What this means
The introduction of Ally highlights a shift in proptech from simple listing platforms to deep operational automation. By tackling maintenance—often the most fragmented and friction-heavy part of property management—Rentify is moving toward a "self-managing" property model. This puts traditional facilities management firms under pressure to digitize their own reporting or risk being sidelined by platforms that offer landlords real-time cost transparency. The reliance on WhatsApp as the primary interface also reflects a broader trend in fintech: meeting users on existing messaging platforms rather than forcing the adoption of standalone apps. The key question for the sector is whether AI can maintain accuracy in cost estimation across diverse repair types without constant human intervention.
