Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has confirmed the programme for the inaugural Dubai Future Finance Week, scheduled for 2 to 6 November 2026. This strategic initiative aims to align global financial policy with innovation, supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s objective of positioning the Emirate as one of the world’s top four global financial hubs.

"The global financial ecosystem is undergoing a structural evolution, and Dubai is shaping its next chapter through Dubai Future Finance Week. By bringing together the world’s most influential financial decision-makers to align policy with progress, this event unites the entire financial spectrum under a single, cohesive platform to drive the ambitions of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33."
His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC.
The companies involved
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is the primary organiser and the leading global financial hub for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region. Established to facilitate the growth of the financial services industry in the UAE, DIFC operates under its own independent, English common law-based legal and regulatory framework. It currently hosts a vast ecosystem of global banks, private equity firms, and fintech startups, and is led by Chairman Arif Amiri, who also serves as CEO of the DIFC Authority.
Global financial institutions are heavily integrated into the programme. HSBC Asset Management, led by CEO Nicolas Moreau, represents the institutional investment arm of one of the world's largest banking organisations. Julius Baer, a premier Swiss wealth management group, is represented by Noel Quinn, who serves as Chair. The involvement of these entities, alongside the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, underscores the event's role in bridging traditional banking with emerging financial technologies. These organisations operate within a market increasingly defined by the transition to sustainable finance and the digitisation of assets.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely tracked the evolution of the Dubai financial ecosystem and its focus on digital transformation. In July 2026, we reported that the Middle East Stablecoin Association Launches in DIFC to Drive Regional Digital Asset Adoption, highlighting the region's push toward regulated digital currencies. This trend was further evidenced in September 2026 when Zamanat Launches $100M Tokenized Private Credit Fund to Close GCC SME Financing Gap, a move that aligns with the upcoming Future Tokenisation Forum.
Our coverage has also touched on the challenges of global banking; for instance, the Interpolitan Money CEO Warns Banks Are Mistaking Global Complexity for Risk, a sentiment that reflects the "Finance Reimagined" theme of the November event. Additionally, the focus on local market needs was seen when Oxyfinz Launches SME Initiative to Bridge the Technology Gap in UAE Wealth Management, supporting the broader D33 agenda to empower the regional financial sector.
What this means
The launch of Dubai Future Finance Week signals a shift in the Emirate’s strategy from being a regional gateway to becoming a primary architect of global financial policy. By grouping disparate sectors like Islamic Finance and Tokenisation under one banner, DIFC is challenging the traditional dominance of Western financial hubs. This move puts pressure on established centres like London and New York to accelerate their own regulatory clarity regarding digital assets and sustainable capital. The heavy emphasis on "Policy and Purpose" suggests that the industry is moving past the experimental phase of fintech and into a period where institutional adoption and regulatory frameworks must converge to maintain market stability.
