Qonto Launches Account Remuneration Feature Offering up to 4% Returns

Qonto, Europe's leading business finance management solution, today announces the launch of remunerated business accounts across France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Starting today, customers can earn up to 4% on their account balance for using Qonto’s payment services.
With this launch, Qonto aims to answer 88% of SMEs in the European Union who expressed that the remuneration of accounts represents a major need for them when it comes to business banking, according to a survey conducted by Appinio for Qonto in August 2025.
This announcement comes only a few months after the official submission of Qonto’s banking license application, where the company announced its aim to offer savings products and even more extensive credit offerings.

- Linked to Qonto’s payment services: With the account remuneration feature, customers are rewarded for using Qonto’s payment services
- Easy activation: Active Qonto customers with at least 5 transactions/month of 1€ or more can easily activate the feature (3 clicks) and automatically receive the
- Availability & ease of use: Customers don’t need an additional account for the remuneration. The gains are directly accessible on the business account and can be used for day-to-day expenses or unexpected spending.
- Visibility and forecasting: Earnings can be forecasted thanks to historical and predictive insights
- Remuneration by account type: Annual equivalent rates (AER) range from 1.0% to 2% with caps ranging from €50,000 to €200,000, depending on the customer's subscription level. For the launch of the offer, the new customers on eligible plans can benefit from an exceptional rate of 4% for the first two months.
