PSQ Holdings, Inc. has secured a major distribution expansion for its PSQ Payments division through a native integration with LendSuite Software. For fintech professionals, this move signals a shift in how high-risk and regulated lenders access stable payment rails, bypassing traditional underwriting hurdles that frequently lead to service terminations in the consumer lending sector.

What was announced

PSQ Payments is integrating as a primary payment processing option for the nearly 150 lenders currently operating within the LendSuite Software ecosystem. This partnership allows lenders using LendSuite’s core platforms—specifically Infinity Software, Tekambi, and EPIC Loan Systems—to activate PSQ Payments directly within their existing loan management systems. The integration, which is scheduled to go live in September 2026, will be featured in LendSuite’s Premier Marketplace.

The technical scope of the integration covers a comprehensive suite of transaction types, including card processing, ACH, Real-Time Payments (RTP), FedNow, and Push to Card services. By embedding these capabilities natively, lenders can manage their financial operations without the need for separate gateway agreements or technical adjustments to their servicing software. This represents a strategic pivot for PSQ Payments; while the company has historically relied on direct sales for merchant acquisition, this partnership establishes a scalable distribution channel through software systems that lenders already rely on for daily operations.

The move specifically targets consumer lenders who often face "de-banking" or termination from mainstream processors due to broad industry classifications rather than individual compliance failures. PSQ Payments intends to leverage its expertise in regulated sectors to provide a more stable environment for these businesses.

"Consumer lenders deserve genuine choices when selecting the processing partners that power their daily operations. Far too often, these lenders lose critical processing relationships for reasons unrelated to their compliance records or loss rates. We designed our platform specifically to welcome and support businesses that other processors label as exceptions or find challenging to underwrite,"

Dusty Wunderlich, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PublicSquare.

The companies involved

PSQ Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: PSQH), operating as PublicSquare, is a payments and financial infrastructure provider that has positioned itself as a defender of businesses operating in regulated or "challenging" sectors. A key component of its operational expertise comes from its ownership of Credova, a consumer financing platform. Because PublicSquare operates Credova, the company manages its own internal processes under the same regulatory frameworks as its clients, providing a unique perspective on underwriting and risk management for the lending industry.

LendSuite Software provides the underlying infrastructure for a wide network of consumer lenders. Its ecosystem includes several prominent loan management brands: Infinity Software, Tekambi, and EPIC Loan Systems. These platforms serve as the central nervous system for lenders, handling everything from loan origination to servicing. By integrating with LendSuite, PSQ Payments gains immediate exposure to a concentrated pool of merchants who require high-uptime, reliable processing that can withstand the operational demands of high-volume loan portfolios.

What FF News has reported before

FF News has tracked the steady expansion of PublicSquare’s payment infrastructure as it seeks to capture market share in specialized verticals. Most recently, we covered how Dealer Cash Selects PSQ Payments to Power Automotive Consumer Payment Processing, a move that similarly focused on the intersection of consumer finance and specialized merchant needs. This latest integration with LendSuite represents a significant scaling of that strategy, moving from individual merchant wins to a platform-wide distribution model.

What this means

This integration is a direct challenge to legacy payment processors who have grown increasingly risk-averse. By embedding directly into LendSuite, PSQ Payments is removing the "technical friction" that often prevents lenders from switching to more friendly processors. It puts incumbents under pressure; if a lender can switch to a more stable partner with a single click in their existing software, the "stickiness" of legacy processors evaporates.

The inclusion of RTP and FedNow is also significant. For consumer lenders, the ability to disburse funds and collect payments instantly is a massive competitive advantage. Watch for PublicSquare to pursue similar "platform-level" integrations in other regulated industries, such as firearms or supplements, where merchant displacement is common.
