Eftsure Acquires Relish to Create Global Leader in AI-Powered Enterprise Payment Assurance
By Ali Paterson · 9 September 2026

Eftsure has acquired Relish to integrate AI-powered vendor data validation and invoice processing into its global payment assurance platform. For fintech professionals, this merger addresses the critical need for independent verification layers within automated finance workflows, mitigating cybercrime risks and fragmented data across ERP, procurement, and treasury systems on a global scale.
What was announced
Eftsure’s acquisition of Relish, a US leader in AI-driven vendor data validation and workflow automation, marks a significant consolidation in the payment integrity space. The deal aims to bridge the gaps between vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and final payment release by creating a unified foundation of trusted data. Relish contributes its Data Assure technology, which validates and enriches vendor information against live government and third-party sources, alongside its Invoice AI technology for automated invoice processing and validation.
The combined entity now serves over 4,000 corporate customers and maintains a workforce of more than 600 employees across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. This scale allows the platform to protect more than US$288 billion in annual payments while actively monitoring 11 million vendors. Geographically, the platform provides coverage across 190 countries and territories, capable of verifying accounts for approximately 85% of the world’s banked population.
This move follows a period of rapid expansion for Eftsure, which reported a 45% growth in global annual recurring revenue over the past year. The acquisition of Relish follows the 2025 purchase of the France-based payment control firm Sis ID and a recent launch in Singapore in August 2026. The integrated platform now offers compatibility with over 35 enterprise systems, including SAP, Coupa, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Oracle NetSuite. The combination is designed to provide visibility across every point where money moves, from accounts payable and payroll to procurement and treasury.
"Bringing together payment integrity leaders across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America creates something the market hasn't had before: a truly global payment assurance platform. As finance becomes more autonomous, faster workflows aren't enough. Enterprises need trusted data and independent verification behind every payment. This combination brings those controls together at global scale."
Jon Soldan, Chief Executive Officer of Eftsure.
The companies involved
Eftsure is a prominent player in the payment integrity market, specializing in independent payment verification to prevent fraud and errors. The company has aggressively pursued a global footprint, moving beyond its original base to establish a presence in major financial hubs. Its strategy relies on providing an independent layer of trust that sits atop existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and treasury systems. This approach is intended to reduce reliance on disconnected onboarding and payment controls.
Relish, the latest addition to the Eftsure group, is a US-based firm recognized for its AI-powered vendor data validation and workflow automation. Its technology was built to close the data gaps that often expose enterprises to financial risk during the procurement and invoicing stages. The group also includes Sis ID, a France-based payment control company acquired in 2025, which bolstered Eftsure’s capabilities in the European market.
The combined organization operates in a high-stakes environment where it must integrate seamlessly with massive enterprise platforms. These include SAP, a global leader in enterprise software, and Workday, which provides cloud-based applications for finance and human resources. By integrating with ServiceNow and Microsoft Dynamics 365, the group positions itself as a critical security component within the most widely used corporate tech stacks in the world.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely tracked the evolution of enterprise payment integrations and the rise of AI-driven data verification. Recently, we covered how Microsoft Taps Checkout.com to Power Digital Payments for Xbox, Azure, and Microsoft 365 in EMEA, highlighting the increasing complexity of global payment ecosystems. The intersection of AI and data trust was also a focal point in our report on how Experian and ServiceNow Partner to Scale Agentic AI with Trusted Decisioning Data. Furthermore, the drive toward unified enterprise commerce was evidenced when Adyen and SAP Launch Unified Payment Solution to Streamline Global Enterprise Commerce. These developments underscore a broader industry trend where legacy ERP systems are being augmented by specialized, AI-powered layers to handle the nuances of modern financial risk and global commerce.
What this means
The acquisition of Relish by Eftsure signals a shift in the fintech sector from simple workflow automation toward autonomous finance with built-in integrity. As businesses accelerate their digital transformations, the fragmentation of data across different systems has become a primary vector for cybercrime. This move puts pressure on traditional ERP providers to either improve their native verification tools or deepen their reliance on third-party assurance layers. The industry is moving toward a model where speed is no longer the only metric for success; the ability to provide independent, real-time verification across 190 countries is becoming the new standard for enterprise-grade payment security. This consolidation suggests that regional point solutions may struggle to compete against truly global, end-to-end assurance platforms.
