Intellect Design Arena Unveils MSOCK to Solve the Enterprise AI Context Gap

Intellect Design Arena has launched MSOCK, an AI-native engineering system designed to provide artificial intelligence with deep enterprise context. By mapping the relationships between business intent, compliance, and legacy code, the system aims to accelerate large-scale digital transformations that have remained sluggish despite the widespread adoption of generative AI and coding copilots.

The launch of MSOCK (Multidimensional Multilayer System of Connected Knowledge) marks a strategic shift from traditional coding-led software engineering to what Intellect calls cognitive engineering. Unveiled at the Global FinTech Fest 2026 on September 9, the system is backed by 39 patent filings and is designed specifically for highly regulated sectors including banking, insurance, and capital markets. It addresses a specific bottleneck: while AI can generate code, it lacks the institutional memory to understand why specific rules exist or how a change might impact downstream legacy systems.

MSOCK functions as a foundational knowledge infrastructure that sits beneath an enterprise’s existing AI investments, such as foundation models, agents, and AI-DLC pipelines. It uses a 21-dimensional Enterprise Spatial Graph to link products, processes, and policies directly to APIs and code. This creates Connected Knowledge Units that allow AI to understand the "blast radius" of any proposed change—identifying exactly what might break before a single line of code is modified. The system is structured into five interconnected layers:

• SOCK: Provides the evidence-backed understanding of the software estate, connecting business rules to implementation.
• Spatial Graph: Offers multi-perspective visualisation of the enterprise estate through 21 dimensions.
• Precise Blast Radius: Assesses dependency risks and the confidence behind those assessments.
• Four Engineering Machines: Reusable intelligence used to build, run, change, and modernise applications.
• Command Centre: Provides observation, management, and compliance for near-autonomous engineering.

To demonstrate the technology, Intellect has issued a three-week open challenge where financial institutions can have a complex application module mapped to reveal its architectural dependencies and hidden risks.
