What will cross-border payments look like in the future? With SunTec | FF News at Sibos 2023

SunTec Head of SaaS, Madhur Jain joins us for another instalment of our Sibos series with SunTec. This time we’re talking about cross-border payments and we also speak to Ian Povey from NatWest who points out that on the 50th anniversary of Swift’s origination, a lot has changed in this area.

Jain says that payments regulations are not necessarily going to get any less complex but that new technology like blockchain could super-charge the streamlining of cross-border payments. There’s also a need to create a seamless end to end experience not just for the customer but for the banks as well to ensure revenue isn’t lost.
