Currently GM of the Tencent Cloud Serverless, Paas, and Devops division, winning industry acclaim as the top serverless cloud offering in China and third worldwide (Forrester Wave 2019). In public cloud, achieved a 10x yearly increase in monthly active users and revenue while growing the team from 40 to 250 via strong strategic product vision, acquisitions (coding.net), and partnerships (WeChat, serverless.com, Siemens). In private cloud, closed key tentpole customers such as the Bank of China, China Customs, and PICC (largest insurance provider in China) with 8 figure contracts.

Previously, I led the Serverless platform team at Netflix, which powers the Netflix API — the largest scale system at Netflix — processing all clients’ requests to backend systems. Building this new serverless architecture on top of AWS — resulting in much faster product innovation and better availability.

Foundational member of the original AWS platform team, building the first cloud-based metering and identity services (AWS IAM).
