About Yaron Shaer

Yaron Shaer joined Klarna in 2014 and has held several engineering leadership roles within the company. He started as the Development Manager for teams working on the core system, Kred. He later led the Platforms domain, which evolved into the Servicing domain and subsequently, DBS. In February 2022, Yaron joined the management team as CTO and also assumed the competence owner role for engineering. Additionally, he holds the position of CISO at Klarna. Yaron was born in Tel Aviv and has lived in the UK and Stockholm. He currently resides in Berlin. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and two kids.  Yaron Shaer is a seasoned professional in the technology industry with a strong background in software engineering. Yaron has held various leadership roles in companies such as Klarna, Camelot Strategic Solutions Limited, Nokia, Barclays Capital, and Vodafone UK. Yaron holds a BSc in Software Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
