About Wissam Khoury

Wissam Khoury, Head of Treasury and Capital Markets (TCM) and Partner Ecosystem at Finastra, responsible for leading and driving strategy, growth, sustainability, and delivery for the Partner Ecosystem and TCM business unit globally. Co-Executive Sponsor for Women@Finastra, helping to drive Finastra’s mission to become the most loved, ‘OPEN by {Default}’, inclusive and diverse employer in fintech by enabling and empowering women to achieve their professional and personal aspirations. Over 25 years of experience working with financial institutions as a sales and technology leader. This has included leading financial institutions through digital transformation and industry developments, such as Open Banking with cloud solutions and driving technology sales globally. Wissam Khoury has a very successful track record in managing high performing teams. He previously spent more than two years leading Finastra’s Middle East and Africa operations as Managing Director, where he was instrumental in contributing to the growth of the region’s fintech industry from his base in Dubai. Wissam Khoury then added APAC to his roster driving the company’s growth strategy there and across EMEA, also living in Singapore for a time, strengthening local footprints, accelerating sales and deepening customer partnerships. Wissam  also spent eight years as a solution practice manager at Reuters Limited, as well as establishing the Misys Middle East local Treasury and Capital Markets business as a Regional Manager. Wissam Khoury has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris. He holds a BBA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and is a certified Financial Risk Manager with the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, traveling the world and cherishing different experiences. In his spare time he enjoys track days and car racing.
