About Werner Knoblich

Starting July 1st, 2023, Werner Knoblich will be leading the worldwide field organization at SUSE as Chief Revenue Officer with the clear goal of accelerating SUSE’s growth path. From June 2022, Werner led the Mambu commercial organization as the CRO for 1 year and helped Mambu revamp the GTM strategy with a much bigger focus on the strategic ecosystem of partners. From 2003 to 2021, he led the Red Hat business in EMEA, with around 2000 people in his direct reporting line. Together with his team, Werner Knoblich grew the Red Hat EMEA business from $20M in 2003 to over $1.5 billion in 2021. Prior to Red Hat, he worked for over 6 years in the US in the IT Asset Management space, doing pre-sales, sales, and services. His professional career started at USU Software in 1992 in Germany. Werner was a sales account manager for 5 years, selling enterprise software in the IT Asset Management space in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Werner Knoblich holds a 1985 - 1991 Masters in Economics, Business @ University of Hohenheim. With a robust skill set that includes PaaS, Demand Generation, Solution Selling, Middleware, Sales Process and more.
