I lead the largest media for equity investment fund in the UK, Channel 4 Ventures ("C4V"). This pioneering new business model solves for an acute problem in the start-up ecosystem; "the lack of capital for awareness marketing". At C4V, we allow digitally native companies to obtain the well documented benefits of brand marketing, typically much earlier than investors prefer. Brand marketing is an increasingly important part of the marketing mix in the noisy digital age. We have made over 20 investments since 2016 with a thesis led investment approach; an activity that has already seen 3 IPOs & a trade exit. I am a digital expert in consumer related industries.
