About Varun Banka

Varun Banka is the co-founder of Atlan. He has previously founded SocialCops, a widely recognized global data for social good company that is behind landmark projects including India’s National Data Platform, global SDG monitoring in partnership with the United Nations, and India's widely successful gas subsidy program, Ujjwala Yojana. Varun has been recognized in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia and India. He has also been recognized in Fortune India’s top 40 under 40 list of entrepreneurs (2015). Varun Banka brings experience from previous roles at SocialCops, Barclays Capital and Microsoft. Varun holds a 2009 - 2013 Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Engineering & Business Minor @ Nanyang Technological University.
