About Tom Profumo

Tom Profumo is a Partner at Active and leads our early-stage fund. He’s particularly interested in education and healthcare, and has led many of our investments, including into companies such as Code First Girls. Prior to Active, Tom held several roles across the consumer investment landscape including as an Investment Director at White Cloud Capital focusing on consumer businesses within healthcare and education, in the M&A division at Morgan Stanley and in the consumer corporate finance team at PwC. Tom Profumo began his career at Vermilion Partners in Beijing, advising blue-chip UK consumer businesses on entering, or expanding in, mainland China. Outside of work you’ll find Tom scootering along Regent’s canal with his daughter or walking in the highlands in Scotland.
