Thorbjørn Fink helped build Pleo from the ground up - and continues to enjoy every step of their journey. Building a company like Pleo has been very rewarding for him. They solve real pain for finance departments, CFOs, managers, and employees by offering smart company credit cards that automate expense reports for businesses and simplify company spending across Europe. Developing a product in the spirit of transparency, trust, and delegation has been a motivating factor for him to also nurture a future of work culture within Pleo. This has encouraged them to look at organizational structures differently, offer employee experiences that are simple and scalable, and work asynchronously with remote teams from the beginning. Today, they're at a hyper-growth stage with 600+ Pleo'ers, 70+ nationalities, distributed teams across 20+ markets (including remotes), and 7 local offices. When he isn't building Pleo, he enjoys advising VC/PE funds on FinTech and payments-related topics, helping founders in the Nordic startup scene, as well as making angel investments in startups in Europe and the US, focused on FinTech and software platforms.
