Talbott Roche is CEO and president of Blackhawk Network (BHN). As BHN’s co-founder, she was integral to the company’s evolution from a gift card network in one grocery chain to a global prepaid leader. Before becoming CEO, Talbott Roche served as BHN’s president through its successful IPO in 2013, and led the growth of the company’s retail and digital businesses. Under Roche's leadership, BHN strengthens relationships between brands and their customers, employees, and partners by transforming transactions into connections. BHN’s portfolio includes: Gift Card & eGift products, promotions and distribution that grow revenue faster; Rewards & Incentives that build loyalty and acquisition and are integrated into today’s leading platforms; and Payments that enable businesses and customers to access and disburse funds in convenient and innovative ways. BHN’s network spans across the globe with over 400,000 consumer touchpoints. Prior to BHN, Talbott Roche held leadership roles with News America Marketing, a News Corp company, and The Clorox Company among others. Roche sits on the board of directors of Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) and board of directors of Achievers, a leader in employee rewards and recognition. She previously served as an executive board member of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA), now the Innovative Payments Association (IPA). Talbott Roche has received awards recognizing her professional achievements, most notably the PYMNTS Innovator Award for Women Driving Innovation in Payments, and Paybefore’s Industry Achievement Award. Talbott Roche is regularly asked to speak on payment innovation and was also included in Progressive Grocer’s list of Top Women in Grocery and the San Francisco Business Times’ list of the Most Influential Bay Area Women. Roche holds a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.
