Stuart’s portfolio includes Real Time Data/Technology, Low Latency (leading the acquisition of Maystreet), Pricing & Reference Services, Quantitative Data Solutions, Wealth Digital, Economics, News & Text. Stuart Brown also leads the Data Platform & Managed Data Services initiatives powered by the LSEG / Microsoft partnership. Over the past three years He had led this business from 2% to 9% revenue growth with annual revenues of over £1.8bn.
Stuart Brown is a Board member of LabCI Limited, LSEG's long term strategic partner servicing the Wealth community in Asia and now in EMEA.
Stuart Brown has over twenty-seven years’ commercial & product experience delivering Trading, Data & Data Management solutions through organic/inorganic strategies and has gained deep expertise on how to drive profitable revenue growth through the combination of data, workflow, cloud, technology, pricing and go to market activities.
In addition to leading Data & Feeds, Stuart Brown owns the global relationship with Thomson Reuters for the long term Reuters News agreement, working closely with the Thomson Reuters CEO and Reuters President.
Stuart’s global experience includes fifteen years in Asia where we was based in Singapore & Jakarta and led regionally the Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk business (Product, Partners & Content) as well as running globally Refinitiv’s pan-business focus on Emerging & Frontier Markets (175 countries) where he gained a deep understanding of working and driving growth in China, India, ASEAN, Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, CIS/Central Europe and LATAM, supporting Central Banks, Banks, Private Banks, Brokers, Wealth Managers, Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Corporates & Industry Associations.
Stuart Brown previously led Cross-Propositions at Refinitiv, Proposition, Eikon Messenger services adoption in Asia, Thomson Reuters Asia Benchmarks & Fixings partnering with Central Banks & Regulators on the launch of Benchmarks in Asia to meet IOSCO guidelines post LIBOR scandals & Thomson Reuters Exchange Traded Instruments business in the sell-side & buy-side, with specific focus on electronic trading, order routing, market data services, News and Collaboration services. Stuart started his career in the financial markets at Reuters in 1996 where he became global product manager for its market leading FX trading product.
