About Steven Meirink

Steven Meirink is a culture and business builder of software, data & analytics, & tech-enabled services across multiple industries with a strong track record of leading organizations, including Wolters Kluwer, Assurant, & Equifax to uncover new market opportunities, develop products that drive sustainable growth, & deliver results at scale. Currently, he is CEO of Wolters Kluwer’s Financial & Corporate Compliance division and a member of the WK Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The division is a recognized leader providing lending, regulatory & investment compliance solutions to financial institutions and legal entity compliance solutions to corporations, small businesses, & law firms. This global team of 4,000+ develops & provides solutions to help financial services and legal professionals make an impact for businesses and consumers in their communities each day. Prior to joining WK, Steven Meirink was senior vice president & GM of Mortgage Solutions at Assurant. In this role, he led a team responsible for developing organic & inorganic opportunities to expand Assurant’s business into new market areas. Under Steve’s leadership the business unit completed three acquisitions, divested a non-core business & rapidly grew its portfolio revenue from $5 million in 2012 to more than $300 million in 2015, with organic growth of $100 million in revenues during that time period. Before joining Assurant, Steven Meirink was vice president of USCIS at Equifax, where he was responsible for driving the growth of new solutions & expanding Equifax's business into new market adjacencies. Steve developed & launched Undisclosed Debt Monitoring (UDM) which has generated $250M+ of organic revenue since it's launch in 2010 making it one of the most successful product launches in the company's history. The idea created a new category in the mortgage credit verification space. Steve's solution is now supported by all 3 credit bureaus & sold by all of the leading Mortgage CRA's increasing the safety & soundness of mortgage underwriting for the entire industry. Prior to Equifax, Steve held several leadership positions & launched start-ups throughout the financial services industry including community banking, mortgage lending, insurance & consumer credit. Steven Meirink earned his B.A. degree in finance & marketing from Wartburg College, Iowa.
