Mr. Byrne completed his education in Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce. At Vitruvian Partners, Stephen Byrne is responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the healthcare sector across Europe. His expertise lies in driving growth strategies, executing mergers and acquisitions and creating value through operational improvements. He is a seasoned leader with a keen sense of strategy, problem-solving and an excellent track record of generating returns for his clients. Stephen worked at General Atlantic in Europe and the US. During his 4 years at General Atlantic he participated in a number of transactions in the Technology and Financial Services sectors. His track record at Vitruvian includes the acquisition of Callcredit Information Group and the buyout of RL360. He currently represents Vitruvian on the board of Callcredit Information Group and RL360. Stephen also has 5 years investment banking experience with Goldman Sachs. He has a BA from Trinity College, Dublin.
