A Chief Operating Officer/Chief Administrative Officer/ Financial Services Executive with extensive leadership experience of building, restructuring/rebuilding, transforming and running businesses and functions in both large and small financial services organisations. Experience and Achievements include: Delivery of outstanding multi-channel Customer Service and Operations fulfilment - Lending, Consumer Finance, Savings, Transaction Banking, Credit Cards, Trade, Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Fraud, Investment Management and Customer Onboarding - to Retail, Commercial and Private Banking customers. Leadership of ‘front-to-back’ business transformation through rationalisation, simplification and ‘digitisation’ of customer journeys and services using both strategic (e.g. new platforms) and tactical (e.g. robotics) technology and data solutions, alongside operating model consolidation. Outcomes include 50% cost/headcount reduction in customer service and operations teams and infrastructure. Scale leadership and development (4,500+ colleagues) of customer service, operations, change/transformation and technology colleagues across multiple locations and countries. Post-2008 financial crisis restructuring, rebuilding and recovery of a UK corporate and institutional banking business as COO, including rebuilding the operational, conduct and credit risk and control environment as well as leadership of key change programmes. Incident and crisis management leadership including post-financial crisis management, technology/business incident management, customer remediation programmes. A passion for customer-centricity alongside commercial success and a commitment to positive societal contribution demonstrated through additional role as Chair of Board of Trustees for a Social Enterprise funding charity.
