About Shane Holdaway

I joined Mission Lane to help transform how people who are working to build or rebuild their ‘credit credibility’ make progress in their lives. I’m fortunate to be joined in this quest by a spirited team of experts and innovators across our offices in San Francisco, CA and Richmond VA, people who are dedicated to the powerful notion that our company exists to elevate other people – those with whom we work, and those we serve. I am also fortunate to be partnered with a consortium of investors and funders who bring passion and expertise to the cause. As of September 2019, we have raised over $500 million in funding from industry leaders such as Invus Opportunities, LL Funds, Oaktree Capital Management, QED Investors, and Goldman Sachs to build a large, sustainable business focused on serving the 100 million US adults with lower credit scores or no credit score at all. Before joining Mission Lane, I was CEO of Barclays US Consumer Bank and also President of Capital One Canada. Prior to moving into financial services, I was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
