Shailesh Baidwan is the Group President of Maya and Co-Founder of Maya Bank. Before joining Maya in 2019, Shailesh held key global, regional, and local leadership roles in various large financial services companies. He served as the Global President of Insights and Loyalty Solutions Division at Aimia, as the CEO of American Express Banking Corporation - India, and as Director at Visa Asia Pacific Region, to name a few. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from India Institute of Management, Bangalore. Shailesh Baidwan Worked across industries and geographies running diverse business; extensive experience in payments; in-depth understanding across business strategy & implementation, sales management, product & portfolio management, new product development, customer engagement, operations and technology, and people management.
