My current role at payabl. UK is CEO and Director where I have executive responsibility for all aspects of establishing and running the UK-focused operation. This role includes coordinating with the FCA and all regulatory bodies and establishing operational policies and procedures. In 2021 Powercard was acquired by payabl. I was the founder of Powercard, a fintech organisation focusing on Visa and Mastercard payment cards including prepaid, debit and payment solutions. I have lived and worked in St Kitts, Antigua, the US, and Cyprus. I have worked in payments since 1998. I have directly been involved in AIM and NASDAQ companies. In 1998, I was part of a group that performed some of the very early live Visa and Mastercard authorisations via the internet. I have extensive knowledge of SEPA, Visa and Mastercard Issuing and acquiring as well as Open Banking and alternative payment methods.
