About Salmaan Jaffery
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the leading financial hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, is a well-established platform for driving the future of finance and the development of regional economies. DIFC is on track to achieve its ambitious strategic goals of growing threefold by 2024 – including 1,000 active financial firms, 50,000 combined working professionals, $250B AUM booked in the Centre, 5.5M Sq. Ft. of occupied space and a $400B combined balance sheet. In line with this growth, DIFC continues to evolve into a preferred lifestyle and residential destination.
In my capacity as Chief Business Development Officer of DIFC Authority, I am responsible for developing and executing business strategies aligned with the Centre’s growth ambitions. My focus is to develop and grow our proposition across key business sectors, including FinTech, Wealth & Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance & Reinsurance, Professional Services and Corporates, while enhancing our offering in Islamic Finance within these areas. Driving the Future of Finance is a key priority so that we maintain and grow Dubai’s market-leadership in Innovation.
