About Sagar Sanghvi

I joined Accel in 2021 to focus on growth stage consumer and enterprise investments, globally. Prior to joining Accel, I spent six years on Instacart’s senior leadership team, most recently as the CFO. While I was there, Instacart went through a remarkable journey: scaling from 300 to over 1,500 employees, transforming its unit economics, reacting to Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods, and absorbing the unprecedented demand surge during Covid lockdown. Before Instacart, I spent time at KKR and Goldman Sachs, where I focused on investing and advising companies in the consumer and media industries. I grew up in Maryland, where I went to high school with my wife, and went on to get degrees from Duke University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
