About Rosemary Hua

Rosemary is an award-winning industry leader and a non-profit entrepreneur with extensive leadership experience in both global non-profit organizations and data technology companies.

In 2009, she founded Empathy FX International, a 501c3 global non-profit organization that has built and maintains 5 school buildings in Ghana. Starting in 2019, Rosemary began to lead the Revolution Robotics Foundation, a 501c3 global non-profit that is building low-cost robotics kits and a free mobile app curriculum so that students of any background can receive high quality & affordable STEM education.

In the corporate world, Rosemary is a seasoned leader in the eCommerce industry, working at both retail giants Walmart and Amazon. At Amazon, Rosemary took part in training the transactions ML engine, enabling powerful customer-facing Prime services. She analyzed transactions data at an unparalleled scale, identifying risky customer behaviors to improve Amazon’s risk & fraud ML model.

Rosemary has advanced data strategy throughout her career in the retail industry. Most recently during her 5-year tenure at Walmart, Rosemary was a leader in the Global Data Strategy and Enablement organization which was responsible for building data product strategy to create value from retail data and analytics in partnership with industry leading CPG suppliers. At Walmart @Labs, Rosemary was promoted upwards at an unprecedented pace and owned high impact global initiatives in the company.

In 2020, Rosemary was named as a top industry leader in Enterprise Technology by Forbes Magazine. Currently as the Head of Retail Strategy at Snowflake Computing, Rosemary leads the charge on how the Snowflake product can transform the retail industry.
