About Raul Liive

I have more than 15 years of experience in startups out of which on last 7 years I have been working on different software product management roles in both B2C and B2B fields.

I have built from grounds up a working SaaS service, before that worked for 8,5 years at Skype on different areas.

Currently I’m a Senior Product Manager at Veriff, an online identity verification service with superpowers.

I’m passionate on well-working products and strongly believe that no product should need a manual. Instead the product should be made usable.

I have a Master’s Degree from University of Tartu’s “Design and Development of Virtual Environments” program.

Design and Development of Virtual Environments was an innovative curriculum in University of Tartu. The course empowered learning trough doing. We developed, a real life, project in every semester, where we used in practice all our existing and new skills which we obtained.

Topics covered were belonging to areas of business, design and software development. We covered everything what a leader on product management needs to know and master.
