Ramin Niroumand joined Motive Partners in 2022 as an Investment Partner. Ramin co-leads the Ventures team and is based in the Berlin office. He is responsible for sourcing and executing investment opportunities with a focus on identifying trends and growth for Motive portfolio companies, through his extensive entrepreneurial experience as a financial services and technology investor and operator. Prior to joining Motive, Ramin founded embedded/capital, a Berlin based early stage financial technology investment firm, which was acquired by Motive Partners in November 2022, to form the early stage arm of the Motive Partners platform. Ramin is also the founder and Executive Chairman of finleap, Europe’s leading FinTech ecosystem. While at finleap, Ramin led the disruption of highly complex legacy sectors including banking, insurance and wealth management, at one time employing over 1,500 persons across 15 portfolio companies. The portfolio is collectively worth over €3bn today and holds 3 unicorns. Ramin Niroumand is the founding investor and Chairman of Solaris. Ramin Niroumand started his career as a consultant at Deloitte before building the innovation department at DKB, the largest internet bank in Germany. Ramin Niroumand holds a BSc in Management Information Systems from HWR Berlin. Ramin Niroumand was elected by Forbes Magazine among the Top 30 young shapers of finance in Europe (#30under30) and by Capital, Germany's leading business magazine, as “Junge Elite - top 40 unter 40” (“Young elite - Top 40 under 40”). Ramin shares his insight and know-how regularly as a speaker at top conferences in Europe. Ramin Niroumand has a wealth of experience in the financial industry. Ramin began their career in 2006 as a Senior Consultant and Professional (IT-Audit) at Deloitte Consulting. In 2012, they became an Entrepreneur, employed by Data Informatik GmbH, responsible for strategy and sales for two family owned service providers and held various consulting jobs at startups and corporates. In 2013, they took on an Innovation role at DKB - Deutsche Kreditbank AG.   In 2015, they became a Founding Investor of CLARK, a company that serves more than 350,000 consumers. In 2016, they became Founding Investor & Chairman of Solarisbank AG and Founding Investor of PAIR Finance. In 2017, they became Founding Investor & exBoard Member of ELEMENT Insurance AG. Ramin Niroumand obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Management Information Systems, General from Berlin Professional School – HWR Berlin between 2006 and 2009.
