Rachel Mulheron is a seasoned Business Development Director with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has a proven track record of business development, sales management, corporate partnerships, and product innovation across multiple distribution channels. Her core competencies include strategy formulation and execution, relationship building and maintenance, market analysis, and growth. In her new role, she is excited to widen her proposition to include travel insurance and join the Staysure Group at an exciting time of growth. In her previous role as Director of Pet Insurance at Pinnacle Pet Group, she led the sales strategy and business development activities for one of the UK's largest pet insurance providers, reporting to the UK CEO. She defined and grew the distribution channel strategy, always focused on achieving significant growth and profitability, developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with corporate strategic partners such as Sainsbury Bank, PDSA, RSPCA, Argos Financial Services, and Post Office. Through the acquisition of these partners and broader pivotal developments, the business quadrupled in policy count and grew from £10m to over £100m in revenue, becoming a top 3 Pet Insurer, during her tenure. She has also developed and launched brand new pet insurance schemes, including Everypaw and Insure Your Paws, to offer pet owners greater choice and quality in the market. She’s passionate about all things travel, building profitable partnerships, healthcare, and animal welfare. FCA approved insurance professional specialising in strategic development, marketing and sales management across multi-channel distributions. She has extensive knowledge of the UK insurance market and is recognised in the industry as a Pet Insurance SME. Rachel Mulheron holds a 1991 - 1996 BVNA / RCVS in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences @ Brinsbury College of Agriculture & Horticulture.
