About Poonsit Wongthawatchai

Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL), a strategic member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), announced the appointment of Mr. Poonsit Wongthawatchai as Executive Vice President of the Environmental, Social, and Governance Division, a new division of Krungsri. Mr. Poonsit will be responsible for promoting and developing good relationships with investors, correspondent banks, and other relevant organasations in order to reflect the intrintic value of the Bank’s securities as well as continuously adding value to the Bank. Moreover, he will oversee sustainability strategies ensuring that they align with Krungsri’s mission to operate in a socially responsible manner. Mr. Poonsit Wongthawatchai obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and International Relations from University of New Hampshire, and an MBA from Columbia University (on the Bank of Thailand’s scholarship). He also received a Master of Philosophy in European Studies from Cambridge University. He joined Krungsri as Senior Vice President of the Investor Relations Department in 2011. Later, he was appointed to be Executive Vice President of the Corporate Communications Division in 2015. His current position is Executive Vice President of the Environmental, Social, and Governance Division.
