About Peter Babej

Peter Babej is CEO of Citi Asia Pacific, responsible for all businesses in the countries and jurisdictions where Citi operates in the region. He is a member of Citi's Executive Management Team. Before his current role, Peter served as Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group. Under his leadership, Citi attained a leading position in the sector and participated in numerous landmark transactions globally. Prior to joining Citi, Peter served in senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Lazard, where he advised financial institutions across North America, Europe and Asia. Peter holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) from the Woodrow Wilson School of Princeton University, and a J.D. and Ph.D from Harvard University. He is a director of Lungevity Foundation and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. Peter Babej is Interim Head of Banking; Chairman of Banking, which includes the firm's corporate, commercial and investment banking activities, and partners with Citi's international franchises to drive global delivery of the firm's resources across nearly 100 markets.
