About Patty Templeton-Jones

Patty Templeton-Jones is the president of Wright Flood, the nation’s largest provider of flood insurance. Through advocacy, education, and technological innovation, Wright Flood has been leading the charge to make flood insurance an essential component of comprehensive coverage for home and business owners across the country. From growing up in Louisiana to living in Florida, witnessing the effects of flooding on communities has guided his 30+ year career, which includes tenures at Bankers Insurance Group and Fidelity National Property & Casualty Insurance – Wright Flood’s predecessor. Patty Templeton-Jones regularly collaborates with government and private entities to fulfill Wright Flood’s mission to close the coverage gap that leaves countless home and business owners exposed to the financial perils of flood. With Wright Flood being the largest provider of policies under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), he works closely with FEMA and other state and federal leaders to recommend flood reform solutions and review practical impacts of existing and future flood reforms with the goal of making flood insurance more accessible to property owners everywhere. Patty Templeton-Jones is also an advocate for flood education, contributing to industry councils and advisory boards with the aim of helping agents, brokers, and consumers understand the importance of carrying flood insurance through the NFIP or from the private flood insurance marketplace. To that end, he has served as president of the Flood Insurance Servicing Companies Association of America; as a member of the Write Your Own Coalition and its Marketing Committee; and as chairperson for the Institute for Business and Home Safety. Patty Templeton-Jones is proud to lead a dedicated team of more than 325 associates employed at Wright Flood’s headquarters in Clearwater, Fla., who share a singular mission: To support their network of approximately 17,000 insurance agents/brokers in their underwriting business and connect them with property owners to fully protect their homes and livelihoods through flood insurance.
