About Nick Bennett

Nick Bennett is the Chief Operating Officer at Tandem, a next generation consumer focused digital bank and lender based in the UK. Nick joined Tandem in August 2016 and has been instrumental in leading the company through a period of rapid growth. Prior to joining Tandem, Nick was the COO of Santander UK's Corporate and SME Banking division, where they were responsible for a range of functions including Client Service Centres, Digital Banking, Service Delivery & Operations, Change Management and IT (400+ people). Nick began their career as a Business Consultant at Ernst & Young in 1999, before moving to Accenture in 2001 where they held the role of Manager. Nick joined Santander in 2005 as Director of Change Management and has since held a number of senior management roles within the retail, commercial and corporate banking divisions. Nick Bennett's educational career includes completing the Santander Executive Programme at IE Business School and earning a MA in Nick'story from the University of Oxford. Nick Bennett works with Paul Clark - CTO, Harald Schneider - Chief Analytics Officer, and Ruth Handcock - Chief Customer Officer. Some direct reports include Dan Odamo - Banking Operations Officer, Adam Holden - Finance Director, and Sven Schindele - Head of Banking Products. Their manager is Ricky Knox , Co-founder & CEO .  Nick has a strong track record in builading, transforming and running outstanding Customer and Operations functions, working in an challenger environment and promoting innovation and change. Nick has led strategic organisational and transformational programmes and has a wide range of knowledge and experience in leading technology, change and operations in the financial banking sector.
