About Nazim Valimahomed
https://kroo.com/
Nazim Valimahomed co-founded digital challenger bank Kroo in 2016, frustrated by the broken banking system and disjointed ways of managing and sharing money with family and friends.
He built Kroo to address the banking industry’s imbalance, which has for too long seen banks reap financial benefits at the expense of customer losses and harm to the planet. He has spent the last six years building the brand from scratch, securing investment, and recruiting the right team. He also achieved a key milestone in 2022: securing Kroo’s full UK banking license. He remains as involved with the brand today as he was in the early days as Kroo’s Chief Product and Design Officer.
Before building Kroo, he spent much of his career developing and launching global F&B brands, including Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Heineken, L'Oréal, Garnier, and Vichy, as well as Renault, and Citi Bank, with his ad agency United Campaigns, now owned by Publicis Groupe
Nazim Valimahomed holds a 1986 - 1991 Economics & Actuarial Science in Macro Economics @ Western University.
