About Naman Budhdeo
https://www.antler.co/about
Naman Budhdeo has been a 4x founder and is currently a General Partner at Antler Canada. Antler is the world's most active investor at the pre-seed stage. We invest in Canadian solo founders looking for a co-founder, capital, community and help with anything else to build a successful startup. Our goal is Founder's First, return for our investors, and to have a lasting impact in creating more technology companies in Canada.
Previous to Antler, Naman has founded multiple businesses in Travel technology, including Flight Network and TripStack.
FlightNetwork.com is one of Canada's largest online travel agencies. Its team of over 600 people in 7 offices uses technology and a superior online user experience to generate over $1B in sales a year for millions of customers.
FlightNetwork.com was named one of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies by PROFIT Magazine for six consecutive years from 2009 to 2015.
TripStack is a fast-growing B2B Travel Technology company whose vision is to change the way millions of people travel.
The TripStack technology provides customers with fast access to all of the world's Low-Cost Carriers that are not available via traditional distribution channels. TripStack uses over 100M fares a day from traditional airlines to create “Virtual Interline” fares that have never existed before. These fares are often significantly cheaper than any other flights offered in the world. This is an incredibly complex problem, with one of the biggest data sets in any industry.
TripStack currently has 200 employees in Canada and India
TripStack and FlightNetwork were acquired in August 2019 by Swedish-based Etraveli (owned by CVC Capital Equity Partners)
