Miriam is a visionary executive, with over 23 years experience in Europe and the Middle East. Her expertise includes Web 3 and tech entrepreneurship ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, strategic marketing and business development. She has worked across several sectors including financial services, Web 3/digital assets, technology, higher education and entrepreneurship
Miriam’s most recent role involved leading the growth of the crypto/ digital assets sector and the tech sector at the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) – an award-winning International Financial Centre (IFC). Through close collaborations with government entities, investors, accelerators, tech founders and other key ecosystem enablers, Miriam led various initiatives to support the development of a leading tech/web 3 hub in Abu Dhabi. Some of these initiatives include the benchmarking of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, the development of the ADGM entrepreneurship and digital assets strategy, the launch of cost effective licensing and the strategic engagement of founders and partners in the tech, digital assets and asset management space.
Prior to her current role, Miriam held various senior roles, leading, strategic marketing, stakeholder engagement, entrepreneurship programs, both in the UAE and Europe.
She also is a board member and adviser to select companies and early-stage funds in digital assets, blockchain and DeFi.
A catalyst for change and social impact, Miriam is highly tuned to global trends and helps instill an entrepreneurial culture within teams. She is recognized for her innovative and visionary ideas, with a global mindset and capacity to construct mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.
A TRIUM Global Executive MBA holder from the London School of Economics & Political Science, New York University Stern School of Business and HEC Paris . Miriam also holds a Bachelor in International Marketing from Brunel University and is an accredited innovation practitioner.
She has recently completed a blockchain and cryptocurrency executive program with UC Berkley.
