About Michel André
Senior technology leader and manager within financial services. I have a 20 year background as architect and technical leader in the financial services industry working with internet trading platforms, exchange technology, dma broker networks, real time risk management, information distribution and other areas requiring extreme reliability, scalability while retaining low latency, high throughput and maintaining and reaching business requirements.
I can translate business strategies and visions into working architectures and programs of transformation work, I can make hard things look simple and is a good communicator of complex concepts.
I have a deep understanding of how business operating model and requirements impacts architecture and technology and can help bridge the gaps and translate both ways.
I have been paramount in designing and rearchitecting existing and systems of different kinds related to all kinds of trading and riskmanagment for increased scalability and throughput over a number of large projects and programmes of work. Covering multiple years of technology transformation meeting changed business requirements. I have a keen interest in both the academical side of application architecture and distributed systems and the more pragmatic side of actually making things work in reality.
