About Michael Ault

Michael Ault is the founder and CEO of UTP and a serial payments entrepreneur. Prior to setting up UTP, Michael started his professional life as an accountant at KPMG before taking a management role at the same firm. Following this, he was a Portfolio Manager at TecCapital Investments before moving into the payments sector as the CEO of Thyron Systems Limited. Michael then founded a card processing company, Card Processing Solutions, before founding UTP in April 2013. Michael Ault, a hands-on, multi-skilled executive with significant experience in the running, turnaround and sale of venture capital and private equity backed businesses.
