Rockefeller  is the Founder and Chairman of the Second Service Foundation (formerly StreetShares Foundation), a 501(c)3 that has funded, served, or trained over 10,000 military veterans/spouses to become entrepreneurs and small business owners since 2016. Previously, he was an attorney with Milbank LLP, co-founded a residential real estate company, and founded a nonprofit social enterprise project in Africa. Mark L. Rockefeller began his career as a military officer and is a veteran of the Iraq War.
