Mark L. Rockefeller is the Co-Founder & CEO of StreetShares Platform, an award-winning software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology that powers banks, credit unions, and non-financial organizations to provide better small business banking products to customers. The StreetShares team has been recognized as EY Entrepreneurs of the Year, Innovators of the Year, Best Technology Company Culture, and other honors.
Mark is also the Founder and Chairman of the StreetShares Foundation, a 501(c)3 that has funded, served, or trained over 5,000 military veterans/spouses to become entrepreneurs and small business owners. Prior to StreetShares, he was an attorney with Milbank LLP, co-founded a real estate company, and founded a nonprofit for a social enterprise project in Africa. He began his career as a military officer and is a veteran of the Iraq War.
StreetShares has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Forbes, Entrepreneur, Inc., Bloomberg Businessweek, Fox News, MSNBC, Huffington Post, American Banker, and others.

He sits on the boards of StreetShares Inc, the StreetShares Foundation, the Foundation for Innovation and Discovery, the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Veterans Task Force, and is a social entrepreneurship mentor at Columbia University.
