He was the Co-Founder & CEO of StreetShares, an award-winning software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that was acquired by MeridianLink (NYSE: MLNK) in 2022. StreetShares was founded in Mark's basement and grew to power over $5B in small business loan volume at banks, credit unions, and non-financial organizations nationwide. Mark L. Rockefeller  is the Founder and Chairman of the Second Service Foundation (formerly StreetShares Foundation), a 501(c)3 that has funded, served, or trained over 10,000 military veterans/spouses to become entrepreneurs and small business owners since 2016. Previously, he was an attorney with Milbank LLP, co-founded a residential real estate company, and founded a nonprofit social enterprise project in Africa. Mark L. Rockefeller began his career as a military officer and is a veteran of the Iraq War.
