About Marc Espagnon

Marc Espagnon graduated from the Institut Agronomique National de Paris. He began his career at Crédit Lyonnais in 1987, where he held positions of responsibility in France and internationally in the banking and payments sectors. In 2000, he became head of commercial banking activities for Crédit Lyonnais' major customers and in 2003 led the merger of these activities with those of Crédit Agricole Indosuez. In 2004, he was promoted to head of commercial banking and cash management at CACIB.  He joined BNP Paribas in the Cash Management department in 2007. In 2011, he became head of the Payments and Cash Management Department of BNP Paribas' Commercial Bank in France. He also held the position of Deputy Global Head in charge of business development within the Cash Management business at BNP Paribas. Marc Espagnon is a member of the Board of Directors of the GIE Cartes Bancaires and the Comité National des Paiements Scripturaux.
