Louise O Shea has Strong track record of significant transformation and growth of digital businesses operating in highly competitive markets, notably Confused.com in the U.K. Strategic and commercial leader with FTSE and FCA experience, running P&Ls, team leadership, innovation and driving ESG agenda, B2C and B2B. Since joining Confused.com as CEO in 2017, Louise has returned the business to its former start-up culture, by focusing on optimising the company’s core insurtech function. Not only did she double company profits and fly the company past its £1bn revenue milestone within her first two years of leadership, but in the last 12 months she’s grown Confused.com’s market share from 4th to 2nd position. Louise O Shea is passionate about disrupting stereotypes associated with the insurtech sector and uses her platform to actively drive fintech across Wales through her positions on the Insurtech 2.0 and Fintech Wales boards. Internally, she launched the Confused.com university to help staff develop tech skills, with a view of future-proofing their skill sets and is passionate about educating the next generation about fintech, which she does through her talks and charitable donations to create equal accessible opportunities for all.
