Louise Hill is the Co-founder and CEO of GoHenry, a prepaid debit card and financial education app designed to teach kids and teens how to manage money wisely. Having co-founded GoHenry in 2012, she managed the global operations of the company as COO for over 10 years before transitioning to the CEO role in 2023. Under her leadership, GoHenry has expanded its customer base to over 2 million across the US, UK, and Europe, following the acquisition of French fintech Pixpay in 2022. In early 2023, GoHenry was acquired by Acorns, creating a combined company with over 6 million customers across the US, UK, and EU, focusing on delivering financial wellness to kids, teens, and adults.
Louise is also recognized for her success in fundraising, having set records on CrowdCube in 2018 and leading GoHenry to raise $136M through investors, crowdfunding, and growth equity. With over 20 years of experience in managing large-scale operations for major UK retailers such as Next Directory, John Lewis, and Debenhams, she was instrumental in launching some of the first e-commerce websites in the UK.
A passionate advocate for financial education, Louise serves as a Trustee of The Centre for Financial Capability, Chair of MyBnk’s Financial Freedom Campaign, and a mentor for Oxford University’s Creative Destruction Lab accelerator programme. Louise Hill is also a strong supporter of women in business, regularly speaking at events and mentoring female founders and startups to drive cultural change around female leadership.
