About Julius Pursaill

Julius Pursaill, experienced Committee Chair, Trustee and adviser with a demonstrated record of working in the public and private sector. Specialise in independent pension and investment governance, with particular experience of DC pension schemes, with profits committees and fintechs. Have had oversight over £200 billion in assets. Responsible for the design of Cushon’s award winning default investment strategy with its market leading integration of climate risks. Graduated from the University of Oxford. In his executive career Julius Pursaill led the then market leading defined contribution business, that BlackRock subsequently sold to Aegon. In his non executive career he has held investment and pension governance roles for NEST, Heineken, Nat West, Prudential and Royal London. He has worked with a number of fintechs, most recently designing the award winning climate investment strategy for Cushon.
