John Cavebring started his Financial career as a young 20-year old entrepreneur, founding Samport Payment Service in Sweden, a business that grew to the leading payment gateway in the Nordics, and later merged with Euroline and became Bambora, an international payments company based in Stockholm, Sweden that processes payments in 65 markets around the world. In 2014, John Cavebring sold his Bambora shares to Nordic Capital, and after honoring two years of non-complete clauses, founded Hips. John is the founder CEO and CTO of Hips Payment Group which is a Payment Platform PaaS for companies that want to add payment services to their offerings, including gateway service, card issuing and acquiring. He has over 20 years of experience in the the card payment industry. He holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship @ Stanford University.
