About Johan Sörmling

Johan Sörmling is currently the Managing Director at Encap Security, working alongside the technology, engineering, and sales teams to deliver secure and relevant products to our customers. Encap Security was recently acquired by Nordic digital identity specialists Signicat. After working together as trusted partners for over ten years, the acquisition creates a company with unparalleled breadth in identity and authentication, establishing Signicat as a mobile identity and authentication powerhouse. Founded in 2006, Encap Security was spun out from a project set up Norwegian banks to create a software-based mobile ID solution. Today’s Encap SCA product, still as ground-breaking, is trusted and used by major banking institutions and national identity schemes as a single solution for customer mobile authentication and security, for all digital use cases and across all channels. Johan Sörmling brings experience from previous roles at Encap Security, Statens Pensjonskasse and Luup. Johan Sörmling holds a 2002 - 2005 Bachelor Of Science in Computer Science @ Rebro University.
