About Jean-Michel Félix

Jean-Michel Félix, Throughout he is 22 years’ experience, Jean-Michel Félix has progressively garnered diverse industry and functional expertise in strategic thinking, system implementation, audit, advisory and consulting experience, both locally and overseas, with a particular emphasis on the financial sector. Jean-Michel is a fellow of the ACCA, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) as well as being a certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC qualification) from ISACA. During he is 10-year span with De Chazal Du Mee DCDM (now know as BDO), Jean-Michel Félix acquired considerable knowledge and exposure in audit, advisory and consulting experience both locally and overseas in multiple fields. Jean-Michel Félix left DCDM in 2004 to join the MCB Group as the Managing Director of Finlease Co Ltd and drove its successful restructuring over a period of nearly 3 years, taking the company to number one in the Mauritius market place. After this spell at Finlease Co Ltd, Jean-Michel Félix was asked to spearhead the restructuring of the assurance functions of the MCB Group. A series of fundamental changes in strategy, processes, scope and depth followed, thus transforming the then Inspection BU into a real Group Combined Assurance Functions [regrouping under the same Head the Group Internal Audit, the Group Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud BUs]. In parallel, Jean-Michel took over the on-going implementation of a Core Banking System which was completed with some solid and sustainable benefits for the local banking operations of MCB. Jean-Michel Félix also set up a Group Project Management Office tasked to drive strategically important projects to successful completion, leading in July 2014 to its corporitisation into "MCB Consulting Services Ltd". As the current CEO of MCBCS, He has over the past 39 months led more than 255 successful overseas assignments throughout 24 countries and in different fields of expertise.
