About Jason Pate

Jason Pate is the Head of Business Development and Corporate Development at Plaid, responsible for business development, product partnerships, corporate strategy, investments and acquisitions. Jason has supported the company’s expansion into new products, new geographies, and new use cases across digital finance. Jason led the acquisition of Quovo and Plaid’s sale to Visa. Prior to Plaid, Jason served as VP of Corporate Strategy & Development at Rubicon Global and Co-Founder of Tava. Jason began his career at Bain and Company. Jason is an active investor/advisor and has experience serving as a Director of the Coca-Cola Foundation and the Sanford School of Public Policy. With a background in consulting and investment banking, Jason Pate has a strong track record of leading strategic initiatives and M&A activities across different industries. Jason also has a solid educational background with degrees in Public Policy and Economics from Duke University.
